Nathin attended N.A.I.T. and graduated from the Culinary Arts Program with honours. His culinary skills have garnered him numerous awards, both nationally and internationally. His greatest accolade – receiving a gold medal for Pastry at the 2004 I.K.A. Culinary Olympics in Erfurt, Germany. He is also two-time champion of the Gold Medal Plates in Edmonton, in 2009 and again in 2012.
Nathin worked at a myriad of restaurants and hotels, including a 5 year stint at Lazia, a unique restaurant that delivered the creative, innovative cuisine he is known for today.
Nathin left Lazia for –Wildflower Grill Restaurant – which quickly became one of Edmonton’s most talked about fine dining destinations, and the recipient of numerous awards and accolades.
Success a Wildflower, led him to partner with Phil Milroy to re-imagine the Murrietas restaurant space into what is today – Ampersand | 27.
A staunch supporter of his community, Nathin is a three-year Culinary Sponsor for Camp FyreFly, and a supporter of the Alberta Ballet and the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
